Abstract:
To provide an imaging device which hardly causes polarization with change of temperature and can suppress attraction of dust due to charging.
A digital still camera 1 comprises an optical low-pass filter 4 between an imaging lens 5 and a solid-state imaging element 10. The optical low-pass filter 4 is composed of three-sheets of birefringent plates 41, 42, 43, wherein the two-sheets of birefringent plates 41, 43 are crystals containing La, Ga and oxygen (O).
