Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that sets an AF area tracking a movement of a subject of a tracking target with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: an imaging unit that continuously shoots a subject in a frame unit to generate a shot image; a display unit that displays in real time the shot image generated by the imaging unit; and a control unit that displays an AF frame indicative of an area to be automatically focused with the AF frame overlapped on the shot image to be in real time displayed on the display unit. The control unit is configured to detect a motion m of the subject from the shot images N-2 and N-1 of the previous frame; predict a position Pn of a specific subject in the shot image N of a current frame on the basis of the detected motion frame; and display the AF frame in the shot image to be displayed on the display unit on the basis of the predicted position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
