Abstract:
To provide an imaging device that corrects rotation around the optical axis, with which, designed to save power consumption though, an imaging element is maintained at a horizontal position.SOLUTION: The imaging device is characterized by having: a movable frame 22, with an imaging element 6 mounted, which is held so as to be capable of rotating relatively to a fixed frame 21 around an axis perpendicular to an imaging plane; a plurality of balls 25a, b, c held between a V groove part 21a on an inner circumferential face of the fixed frame and a V group part 22a on an outer circumferential face of the movable frame; a first magnetic circuit 23 for holding a movable part at a prescribed position by magnetic suction; a second magnetic circuit 24 composed of a second magnet 31 and a coil 34; position detection means 51 for detecting the relative rotating position of the movable frame; a magnetic circuit control unit for controlling a current applied to the coil, on the basis of the detection result of the position detection means; an electricity conduction retention mode for sending electricity to the coil and holding the movable frame at approximately center; an electricity nonconduction retention mode for not sending electricity and holding the movable frame at a prescribed position; and retention mode switching means for switching between the electricity conduction retention mode and the electricity nonconduction retention mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
