Abstract:
To provide a high-sensitivity imaging device which has an electron multiplying image sensor, reduces color shift due to saturation without decreasing moving image resolution, and prevents S/N degradation even if the multiplication factor of electron multiplication is increased.
Two drive modes, an interlace drive mode and a non-interlace drive mode, are switched in a timing signal generation means (6) by a control signal (C7A) transmitted from a control means (7). In addition, the content of signal processing in a digital signal processing means (5) is changed by a control signal (C7B) transmitted from the control means (7).
