Abstract:
To transmit a control command to an accessory device from an imaging device without delay, while transmitting a large amount of data to the imaging device from the accessory device.SOLUTION: An imaging device 200 has: first camera communication control means 208a that transmits a control command for controlling operations of an accessory device 100 from an imaging device to the accessory device via a first communication channel provided between the accessory device and the imaging device, and receives data transmitted from the accessory device in accordance with the control command; and second camera communication control means 208b that receives optical data on the accessory device transmitted from the accessory device via a second communication channel provided separately from the first communication channel between the accessory device and the imaging device. The first camera communication control means is configured to transmit a data designation command of designating optical data requesting transmission to the accessory device via the first communication channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
