Abstract:
To provide an image capturing lens which satisfies requirements of wide angle, low height, and low F-number, and yet offers good optical characteristics. The image capturing lens comprises, in order from the object side to the image side, a first lens having an object-side surface that is convex near an optical axis and positive refractive power; a second lens having an object-side surface that is convex near the optical axis; a third lens; a fourth lens; a fifth lens; and a sixth lens having an image-side surface that is concave near the optical axis and negative refractive power. The second lens has negative refractive power near the optical axis. The third lens has negative refractive power near the optical axis. The fourth lens has positive refractive power near the optical axis. A thickness D2 of the second lens along the optical axis, a focal length f2 of the second lens, a distance T4 from an image-side surface of the fourth lens to an object-side surface of the fifth lens along the optical axis, and a focal length f of the entire image capturing lens system satisfy the following conditional expressions: -3.00<(D2/f2)*100<-0.05, 0.25<(T4/f)*100<1.00.
