Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (X is cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, phenyl, naphthalehyl, 5- to 6-membered hetero ring containing 1-3 hetero atoms, indanyl, tetrahydronaphthalenyl or these groups may be replaced with 1-5 substituent groups such as alkyl; n is 1-4).

EXAMPLE: A compound shown by formula II.

USE: A plant growth regulator.

PREPARATION: An imidazolecarboxylic acid shown by formula III is reacted with an aminonitrile shown by the formula NH2(CH2)nCN in the presence of a dehydrating agent and a condensation agent.
