Title:
IMMOBILIZATION OF ENZYME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03236777
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve both the amount of enzyme immobilized and its activity yield by covalent bonding of the functional group of an enzyme to the functional group of a denatured protein bound to a carrier to effect increase in the amount of the enzyme adsorbed.

CONSTITUTION: The functional group of a denatured protein 2 (e.g. bovine serum albumin) is bound around a carrier 1 (e.g. SiO2), and the molecules of this protein 2 are mutually bound adjacently along with covalent bonding of the functional group of an enzyme 3 to the functional group of the protein 2 one by one.
