Abstract:
To provide an immobilizing material for a cell immobilizing the target cell on a substrate and to provide a method for producing the immobilizing material.
The immobilizing material is designed to immobilize the prescribed target cell having a mechanism for incorporating iron through a siderophore into the interior on the substrate. The immobilizing material has a linker of a prescribed chain length arranged in a monomolecular film state on the surface of the substrate and the siderophore or its analog arranged through the linker on the substrate. The chain length of the linker is regulated to that without theoretically passing the cell membrane of the target cell in the state arranged on the substrate therethrough.
