The method includes locally administrating a polymer having at least two repeating charge motifs separated by at least a certain minimum distance, preferably a zwitterionic non-polysaccharide polymer. The repeating charge motif includes a positively charged free amino moiety and a negative charge, and the positively charged free amino moieties of at least two repeating charge motifs are preferably separated by a distance of at least 32 .
