Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to consumables by controlling the impact pressure of an impact mechanism so that it is small when the thrust of a feed mechanism is so small that the force of impact is not sufficiently utilized in drilling bedrock, and so that it is great when the thrust of the feed mechanism is so great that the force of impact is sufficiently utilized in drilling the bedrock.
SOLUTION: This drilling device includes an impact mechanism 1 driven by hydraulic pressure, a rotating mechanism 2, and a feed mechanism 3. In this case, the impact-causing operating oil passage 4 and impact-causing return oil passage 7 of the impact mechanism 1 are connected together by a bypass oil passage 13, and a flow control means 20 which decreases the rate of flow in the bypass oil passage 13 by means of the buildup of pressure in the feed- forward oil passage 6 of the feed mechanism 3 is provided in a portion of the bypass oil passage 13.
