Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide impact resistant, gasoline staining resitant compositions containing a polyester resin and/or a polycarbonate resin and a graft copolymer consisting of a conjugated diolefin substrate and a vinyl cyanide/alkenyl aromatic superstrate.
CONSTITUTION: Pigmented and unpigmented impact resistant, gasoline staining resistant compositions which comprise a polyester resin and/or a polycarbonate resin modified with a conjugated diolefin-based substrate vinyl cyanide/alkenyl aromatic superstrate grafted copolymer having an agglomerated substrate with a volume average particle size of about 80-about 450 nm. The pigmented compositions also increase uniformity in color.
