Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the accuracy of excitation control in performing a high- accuracy test by correcting the period of an acceleration command signal to be supplied, according to the comparison result of the period of an acceleration detection signal with the set period of an acceleration command signal.
CONSTITUTION: An excitation period D is set at a predetermined value in a setting portion and the start of excitation is directed. A controller 22 then outputs to an inverter 9 an acceleration command signal Pg having a waveform that matches the set excitation period D. The inverter 9 in turn supplies to an armature coil 5 an exciting current that matches the signal Pg from the controller 22. A test-piece stand 7 is thereby driven and a test piece 8 is accelerated. An acceleration sensor 21 detects the acceleration of the test piece 8 and outputs a detection signal to the controller 22. The controller 22 compares the period of acceleration of the test piece 8 with the set excitation period D, and according to the comparison result corrects the signal Pg to be given the next time, so that error with respect to the excitation period D is within a certain range.
