Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an impeller for an air tool which can operate oillessly and low in moisture absorption and swellability and excellent in abrasion resistance and dimensional stability by mixing a thermoplastic polyether aromatic ketone with a heat-resistant reinforcing fiber and a solid lubricant. CONSTITUTION:This impeller is prepared from a composition essentially consisting of 95-50 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyether aromatic ketone, 5-50 pts.wt. at least one heat-resistant reinforcing fiber selected from among an aromatic polyamide fiber, a carbon fiber, a potassium titanate fiber, etc., and 5-30 pts.wt. at least one solid lubricant selected from among a tetrafluoroethylene resin, graphite, molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide, boron nitride, etc.
