To solve the problems of leakage of dirty water or the invasion of moisture caused by a rupture of a membrane which is unable to follow up the displacement of the foundation ground on which the membrane is to be laid as an impervious construction by covering the membrane, the membrane becomes partially thin following the displacement, or the foundation ground to be located outside the membrane is lost and a cavity is formed and the membrane is cut or scratched by the things put into the structure.
One of the features of this construction is that a floor slab having a high rigidity is created by hardener such as cast-in-place mortar on the foundation ground. In addition, the floor slab is divided and formed to any desired sizes; and joints at the jointing portions are connected by elastic jointing members thereby preventing the concentration of bending stresses against the foundation ground and allowing the flexible responses. Further, slab having a higher rigidity is formed by cast-in-place mortar on the foundation ground, and the membrane is laid on the floor slab and a double impervious construction is provided.
