The impregnation-coating type Japanese paper tape substrate capable of suppressing the tape breakage by the hand on the masking work time without increasing the using amount of the synthetic fiber is provided by mix-paper making the synthetic fibers such as a vinylon, a polyester, a nylon, a polyolefin, an acrylic, etc., having 1 to 5 dtex fineness (thickness) with the Japanese paper.
