Abstract:

To provide improved method and equipment which allow fine tuning of a calender gap.

A calendering system 10 has first and second rollers 30 respectively equipped with first and second ends which are attached to end supports 20 facing each other. The end support 20 has inlet and outlet ports which communicate, by means of a fluid, with one, two or more internal passages to circulate a heating medium. A first end support 20 is heated to a temperature different from that of a second end support 20.
