Abstract:
To provide a radiation detector window for gas-charged radiation detector to remove a proper blemish such as micro cracks likely to grow up to pinholes because of mechanical stress.
The entrance window for gas-charged radiation detector contains a plastic core with conductive coating at its inside and outside. The plastic core is a high barrier plastic film of low surface density or a polyethylene terephthalate film. The plastic core is a polyethylene terephthalate film. The polyethylene terephthalate film is multilayered and has directivity.
