PURPOSE: To prevent an improper movement of a radiator or its overlapping state and prevent a damage of the radiator caused by a thermal expansion and the like by a method wherein a plurality of stages of thermal conducting pipes are arranged within a casing, aeration plate-like radiators are installed between the thermal conducting pipes with the same being laid thereon and a clearance between the radiators and the upper thermal conducting pipes is made smaller than a plate thickness of the radiator.
CONSTITUTION: A fluid heating device 11 has a casing 12 connected to a discharging port and an interior of the casing 12 is constructed such that the lower part is a mixing chamber 14 and the upper part is a combustion chamber 15 with a burner plate 13 being applied as an interface part installed below it. An aeration radiator 17 composed of ceramic honeycomb plate is mounted on the first thermal conducting pipe 16. The radiator 17 is made to have a length extending over at least two of the first thermal conducting pipes 16 and has a size having a clearance in respect to an inner wall of the casing 12. A distance (d) between the lower-most part of a flat plate fin and the ceramic honeycomb plate is set to have a value smaller than the thickness (t) of the ceramic honeycomb plate. A damage caused by a difference between the casing and the radiator is prevented and a wide range of tolerance for the accuracy of size of the radiator is also widened.
