Abstract:
To provide an improved method that can effectively produce a double sulfate of a rare earth element, and also provide a method for quick precipitation of a double sulfate of a rare earth element with a high precipitation rate from a rare earth element-containing solution derived from rare earth magnet materials or the like.SOLUTION: A rare earth element-containing solution is blended with acetic acid and uniformly mixed. Then, a solid alkali metal salt of sulfuric acid is added to a resultant liquid mixture for dissolution, resulting in the precipitation of a double sulfate of a rare earth element.SELECTED DRAWING: None
