PURPOSE: To calibrate a sensor within a package to keep a sterilized state without removing the package by a method wherein there is provided a piping means for use in controlling inflow of fluid into an inner wrap for determining a chamber where the sensor is stored and also controlling liquid in the inner wrap.
CONSTITUTION: A package 10 is provided with a tray 12 for the package, a piping 14, a bottom plate 16, a cover 18 and an outer wrap. The tray 12 includes a compartment 21 for holding the piping 14. The L-shaped compartment 21 has a compartment 22 for a pressure gauge. A bottom part 21b of the compartment 21 is provided with spaces for a shut-off valve 23 and a relief valve 24. The compartment 22 is provided with a fluid inlet 35, a gas flow inlet 36 and a liquid flow outlet 37. A liquid flow-in tube 38 connected to the liquid flow inlet 35 is connected to a hydration bag 39 within a hydration container 40 connected to the tray 12 by a strap. A cover 18 covers a compartment 25, a compartment 26 holding a sensor transmission device therein, a compartment 30 for an optical fiber connector 32 and a compartment 34 for a filter 46.
