Abstract:
To solve problems of space, cost and control stability relating to adjustment and control of flow rate which become problems especially for a large size engine in a high pressure fuel supply device supplying fuel to a common rail.
The high pressure fuel supply device in which fuel is put under high pressure by a feed pump is provided with two identical feed pumps 3, 4. The two feed pumps are supplied with fuel by a low pressure fuel supply means 1 while having fuel feed rate of the two pumps controlled by a control means 5. The two feed pump supply fuel to an identical common rail 2.
