Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for improving the adhesivity of an aromatic polyamide fiber especially to rubber materials.
CONSTITUTION: An aromatic polyamide fiber is treated with a treating agent containing specific chlorophenol compounds of formulas I, II and III, immediately irradiated with an UV ray pulse laser having a wavelength of ≤380nm and subsequently treated with a treating agent containing a resorcinol/formalin/ rubber latex(RFL).
