Title:
IMPROVING WORK OF GROUND UNDER WATER PRESSURE AND IRON-BAR SETTER TO BE USED THEREIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59118926
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the floating of ground under pressured water by a method in which piles with expanded portions, formed of a slow-setting grout, are provided between the grounds under pressured water, having a pressure-water ground inside, iron bars are set before the hardening of the grout, and then the grout is hardened.

CONSTITUTION: A slow-setting grout is injected between the first layer 1 as the ground under pressure water and the second layer 2 as the ground under water pressure, which exists through the pressure-water ground, to form a pile 3. Expanded pile portions 32 and 31 are also provided toward the pile 3 and the pressure-water ground, iron bars are set in the pile 3 and the expanded pile portions 31 and 32, and the grout is hardened. Such a pile 3 is formed over all range of the ground to be improved. The first layer 1 and the second layer 2 are connected with the piles 3, and therefore, the floating of the first layer 1 by pressured water can be prevented.
