Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-file parking supporting device suppressing changes in an azimuth angle at a small degree in a process of in-file parking of a vehicle with relatively large movement in a vehicular width direction.
SOLUTION: The minimum turning radius locus of a rear wheel shaft center A under the condition that the vehicle 50 is positioned at an in-file parking finishing position is calculated. A contact point position C1 between a position B1 of the rear wheel under the condition that the vehicle 50 is positioned at an in-file parking finishing position and the minimum turning radius locus is calculated. A locus of a circle on which the rear wheel shaft center A passes the contact point position C1 from a state of the vehicle 50 positioning at an in-file parking starting position is calculated. The calculated locus of the circle is set as a target moving locus on which the vehicle 50 should move from the in-file parking starting position, and indicated on display device 22.
