Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a low-cost regenerative burner unnecessary for cooling a fuel supply tube without increasing in size a regenerating unit.
CONSTITUTION: The in-furnace-wall type regenerative burner comprises a gas passage 2 opened 3 at one end within a furnace and opened 4 at the other end out of the furnace at the furnace wall 1 made of a heating insulator, a thermal storage material 9 filled in the passage in such a manner that the opening out of the furnace is so connected to a combustion air source and exhaust means as to be able to be switched, and a fuel supply tube 12 arranged at the other position near the opening in the furnace.
