Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide possibility of an in-tank type fuel pump device to be light- weighted and simplified by preventing electric charge on a fuel tank and in-tank parts.
CONSTITUTION: A pump case 16 enclosing a fuel pump, a pressure adjuster 22 and a fuel filter 23 are provided inside of a fuel tank 1. The metallic fuel tank 1 is electrically conductive to a vehicle wire harness via a gasket 24, a terminal 31 and a grounding lead wire 37. The pressure adjuster 22 is electrically conductive to the vehicle wire harness via a pressure adjusting bracket, a fuel filter bracket and the grounding lead wire 37. Furthermore, the fuel filter 23 is electrically conductive to the vehicle wire harness via the terminal 31, a fuel filter bracket, and the grounding lead wire 37. Therefore, the fuel tank 1 and various kinds of tank inside parts can be effectively prevented from their electric charge.
