Abstract:
To provide an on-vehicle control device which can improve the determination accuracy of an engine stall.SOLUTION: A crank signal is inputted to an on-vehicle control device from a crank sensor. A pulse edge in a specified direction is generated in the crank signal every time a crankshaft rotates by a prescribed angle, and on the other hand, a missing tooth part in which n-pieces of pulse edges are missed is generated in a specified position of the crank shaft. In the on-vehicle control device, an edge interval being a generation interval of the pulse edge in the crank signal is measured by S110. Then, a measurement value of an edge interval which is not the missing tooth part is determined whether or not to be a first threshold or larger by S120 to S170, and when the measurement value is the first threshold or larger, an engine stall is determined. Also, a measurement value of an edge interval of the missing tooth part is determined whether or not to be a second threshold or larger which is obtained by multiplying the first threshold by "N+1", and when the measurement value is the second threshold or larger, the engine stall is determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
