Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle device which can transmit and receive content via an in-vehicle network without increasing the need for gateways, and a content reproducing method and content reproducing program for the in-vehicle device.SOLUTION: The in-vehicle device comprises: a first communication unit which receives command information for switching a mode to a mode of reproducing content data, via an in-vehicle network; a control unit which switches the mode to the mode of reproducing content data in response to the command information received by the first communication unit; a second communication unit which receives content data from a communication network different from the in-vehicle network; and a content reproducing unit which reproduces the content data received by the second communication unit. The first communication unit sends information indicating that the mode has been switched to the mode of reproducing content data, to the in-vehicle network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
