Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle display device that coordinates so as to execute an appropriate navigation action in a portable type instrument.SOLUTION: A base part 3 of a head-up display has: a communication unit that communicates with a portable type external instrument configured capable of a navigation action; and a display data creation unit that creates display data in accordance with an instruction received by the communication unit and from the external instrument. A projection unit 4 has a display unit that implements an image display for projecting an image based on the display data created by the display data creation unit. The base part further comprises: a gyro sensor; and a gyro data transmission control unit that implements control of causing detection information on the gyro sensor to be transmitted to the external instrument in accordance with a request from the external instrument received by the communication unit. Accordingly, gyro data available for the navigation action is provided to the portable type external instrument.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
