Abstract:
Provided are: an in-vehicle electric-power generating device capable of generating electric power used for driving a compressor of a refrigeration apparatus by using waste heat from a vehicle engine; and a refrigerator vehicle equipped with the same. The present invention includes: evaporators 21 that evaporate a working fluid through heat exchange with cooling water for an engine 4; a cooling-water circulation circuit 25 in which the cooling water for the engine 4 is made to circulate to the evaporators 4; expanders 22 that rotate through expansion of the working fluid evaporated by the evaporators 21; a generator 26 that generates electric power through the rotation of the expanders 22; a condenser 23 that condenses the working fluid flowing out from the expanders 22 through heat exchange with outside air; and a main pump 24 that suctions the working fluid flowing out from the condenser 23 and that discharges the working fluid toward the respective evaporators 21. The electric power generated by the generator 26 is stored in a second battery 17 of a refrigeration apparatus 10, and a motor 16 that drives a compressor 11 is driven by the electric power stored in the second battery 17, thus making it possible to generate electric power used for driving the compressor 11 by using waste heat from the engine 4.
