Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor drive device which does not need to increase a wheel diameter of a vehicle equipped with the device and enables a signal line to be taken out in a manner such that influence of noise generated by a power line on the signal line is minimized.SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor drive device (10) includes: a wheel hub bearing part which rotatably supports a wheel hub extending in a vehicle width direction; a motor part which drives the wheel hub; and a casing (25) incorporating the motor part. A motor rotation axis (M) is disposed so as to be offset from an axle (O) in a vehicle fore and aft direction. The casing (25) includes a signal line take-out port (51a) for taking out a signal line (87), which is connected with a rotation angle sensor for detecting a rotation angle of a rotor, in a radial direction. The signal line take-out port (51a) is provided at an inner side of a position of an outer peripheral surface of the stator (24) when viewed from an axis direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
