Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an improved arrangement to an incinerator facility increasing its efficiency in operation and concurrently provide the incinerator facility for bulk sludge and liquid containing hydrocarbon having a capability to attain its operation speed before feeding sludge and under an expenditure of minimum amount of auxiliary fuel.
CONSTITUTION: Sludge fed through an upper feeding opening 231 of a refractory floor means 33 is held only for a limited time period. A grate 234 for use in descending the sludge onto the refractory floor means 33 while the sludge is being ignited has a plurality of through-pass openings 235, and the grate 234 is installed within an enclosed main chamber 32 above the refractory floor means 33 in such a way that it is adjacent to the feeding opening 231. A cooling means is connected to the grate 234 and at the same time the refractory material is installed on the grate.
