Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently incinerate refuse difficult to burn, including garbage, by a method wherein a tray rotatable in either front or rear direction from in its horizontal state is provided above a grate in a combustion chamber, and a leg assembly composed of a pair of mountain-shaped rod members is spredably joined to the upper surface of the grate.
CONSTITUTION: An opening lid 3 is opened and refuse thrown-in through a dust hopper 2, following which the lid 3 is closed and the waste is ignited and burnt. At this time, garbage is placed on a tray 11 in the condition that the tray 11 is horizontally held. In this way, the garbage is allowed to dry in an incinerator, the tray 11 is pivotally moved forward after its drying, and the garbage dried is dropped on a grate 7 and is incinerated. Since a leg assembly 23 wherein a pair of rod members, each of which is bent in mountain shape, are spreadably inserted into supporting plates is placed on the upper surface of this grate 7, the clearance between materials to be burnt is adequately kept. Furthermore, during their combustion, the ventilating state of a draft tube is controlled with the rotary lid 29, and hence air is sucked from an upward opening part and perfect combustion is promoted.
