Title:
INCINERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3310715
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve heat efficiency of an incinerator by a method in which ash is discharged while being cooled by a jet of cooling air and the cooling air after cooling the ash is sent into a furnace as a secondary combustion air.
CONSTITUTION: In a fluidized-bed incinerator 1 used to incinerate waste, ash produced in a furnace is drawn out of a side end of a furnace bottom and sent to an ash discharging device which is provided slantwise. The ash is cooled in the ash discharging device 3 by cooling air jetted out of a cooling air hole 7 down to a prescribed temperature, and then reaches an incombustible matter separation part 4 which opens in a slit form, where only incombustible matter in the ash moves over the slit, being separated from sand of a fluidized bed. The cooling air used for cooling the ash is then sent to the fluidized-bed incinerator 1 as secondary combustion air 10. Thus waste heat can be utilized effectively.
