PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion furnace that can extinguish the fire in the combustion furnace while suppressing rapid pressure rise inside the combustion furnace in loss of regular power source, and to provide an incineration facility, and a method for extinguishing a combustion furnace.SOLUTION: The combustion furnace includes: a combustion furnace body 31 for partitioning a combustion chamber 41 for combusting an object to be combusted 42; and an extinguishing foam supply source 37 for supplying the burning object 42 with extinguishing foam 44 for extinguishing the object to be combusted 42 in the combustion chamber 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
