Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a honeycomb board at a low cost, which is light weighted and high in strength, has incombustibility and water resistance, and can be held in a specific form even in use at a high temperature.
CONSTITUTION: An incombustible reinforced honeycomb board is composed of a honeycomb laminated material wherein a honeycomb core 1 of 5-20mm cell size consisting of a incombustible sheet which has sepiolite as a main component and is formed via an adhesive 3 for forming a honeycomb is laminated by three stages, an interlayer sheet 4 which has sepiolite as a main component, and is stuck between the honeycomb core 1 layers via an adhesive 3 for forming the honeycomb, and an incombustible board material 12 which is stuck to both end faces of the honeycomb laminated material via an adhesive 13 for forming the board and has the sepiolite as a main component. An impregnating agent for giving water resistance and water repellency is applied to the whole body.
