NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1 is lower alkyl, phenyl, naphthyl or S-containing heterocyclic group; R2 is OH, may be protected; p is 2 or 3; q is 0 or 1) or salt of said compound.
EXAMPLE: 2-(p-chlorobenzene sulfonylamino) indane-5-oxyacetate.
USE: Inhibiting agent of platelet aggregation, anti-thrombogenic agent or preventive and curing agent of smooth muscle contraction or asthma, etc.
PREPARATION: For instance, a compound expressed by formula II (Y is amino group, may be protected, or reactive residue) or salt of said compound is subjected to condensation reaction with sulfonyl compound expressed by formula III (X1 is OH or reactive residue for protected amino as Y, or free amino for reacted residue as Y) in the presence or absence of deoxidizer (e.g. alkali metal carbonate) to afford a compound expressed by the formula I.
