PURPOSE: To obtain new indazoles having highly excellent controlling effect on various phytopathogenic fungi, insect pests and mite, thus useful as an agricultural/horticultural germicide, insecticide or miticide, consisting of an indazole-3-carboxylic acid amide derivative.
CONSTITUTION: This new indazole compound is expressed by formula I [R1 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxyl or halogen; R2 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, 2-5C alkanoyl or methoxymethyl; R3 is H or a 1-4C alkyl; R' is H, a 1-8C alkyl, 1-8C alkoxyl, halogen, 1-4C haloalkoxyl, (substituted) five- to seven-membered cycloalkoxyl, 1-4C alkylthio, (substituted) phenylamino, piperidino, (substituted) phenoxy, etc.]. This compound has highly excellent controlling effect on various phytopathogenic fungi, insect pests and mite, thus being useful as an agricultural/horticultural germicide, insecticide or miticide. This compound is obtained by reaction of an indazole-3-carboxylic acid compound of formula II (Z is Cl, Br, methoxy, etc.) with an aminomethylpyridine compound of formula III.
