Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an index device capable of increasing efficiency of changing work of a workpiece by automatically facing a workpiece holding part of a jig to which the workpiece is to be mounted to the front surface of a changing operator.
SOLUTION: In an index device, jig holding parts 43 for holding jigs 5 are supported on frames 41, 42 of an index main body 21 through shafts 45, 46, gears 51, 52 fixed to the shafts 45, 46 are linked to gears 53, 54 fixed to a rotary shaft 44 of the index device 21 and having the same diameter through gears 55, 56, and the jig holding parts 43 are reversed in relation to the index main body 21 when the index main body 21 is reversed. Jig fixing plates capable of being freely slid by an actuator are provided on the front surfaces of the jig holding part main bodies, and locking of the jigs 5 held to the jig holding parts 43 is performed by collar parts of the jig fixing plates.
