Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform the retractable operation of an indexing plunger pin to an indexing location hole easily and lightly by connecting this indexing plunger pin to an operating handle of a servo assisted mechanism such as a lever.
CONSTITUTION: In the indexing work of a pallet P, it is performed in the following procedures that an indexing plunger pin 10 to be inserted into one of two indexing location holes A and C installed on a bottom circumference 1A of a turntable 1 rotating after mounting this pallet is pulled out downward lightly with an operating handle 11A of a servo assisted mechanism by a lever 11. In this state, the turntable 1 being mounted with the pallet P is rotated by manual operation by 90 degrees, and this indexing plunger pin 10 is inserted into the shallow indexing location hole by its own power through resilient force of a coil spring 4. With this insertion, the pallet P is positioned in a new indexing position, while a switch member S is left turned off.
