Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indexing device capable of surely locking rotation of a tool post in a stopping position.SOLUTION: An indexing device 10 comprises a rotary shaft 14 for fixing a tool post 16 and a fixing frame 12 for rotatably supporting the rotary shaft 14. A positioning mechanism 30 comprises a moving member 32, a support member 50 and a diameter expanding part 58 on the rotary shaft 14 side. The moving member 32 is movably arranged in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 14 between the fixing frame 12 and the rotary shaft 14, and comprises a guide surface 38 for receiving a ball 70. A ball groove 60 opposed to the guide surface 38 of the moving member 32 is formed on the outer periphery of the diameter expanding part 58. The support member 50 comprises a cylindrical part 52 arranged between the guide surface 38 and the ball groove 60, and the cylindrical part 52 is provided with a hole 54 capable of moving the ball 70 in the radial direction. The ball 70 is pushed in the ball groove 60 by the guide surface 38 by lifting the moving member 32, and stopping of the rotary shaft 14 is locked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
