Abstract:

To provide an indicator for plasma sterilization, which can precisely judge whether a plasma sterilization treatment to an object to be sterilized has been executed or not, whose light resistance and stability are superior and whose color change speed in a display is fat and to provide a packaging material, for sterilization, on which a display part using the indicator is formed.

A pigment which is composed mainly of an anthraquinone-based compound, an organic amine-based compound and a binder are contained in the indicator for plasma sterilization. The anthraquinone-based compound is preferably selected from between laccaic acid and carminic acid which are indicated by the following structures.
