This individual identifying device is provided with an operating means for inputting ID information by an operation of an operator, an ID information storing means for previously storing the ID information, and a lost card ID information storing means for storing lost card ID information. A controlling means controls so that an imaging means may fetch an image and also transmits at least either alarm or the fetched image to a remote monitoring center when the ID information obtained by the operating means coincides with the lost card ID information stored in the lost card ID information storing means. Thus, it is possible to improve recognition accuracy.
