Abstract:
To provide: an indoor coal storage facility that is easily applicable also to an existing indoor coal storage yard and can prevent natural heat evolution of the coal and the blockage of the hopper by the coal; and an operation method thereof.SOLUTION: The indoor coal storage facility includes: hoppers 20a, 20b that are provided under a floor of an indoor coal storage yard 5; hopper screens 30a, 30b that are provided on a floor face 11 so as to cover an upper faces of the hoppers 20a, 20b; discharge conveyors 40a, 40b that discharge the coal inside the hoppers 20a, 20b; and iron plates 50 that respectively partially cover upper surfaces of the hopper screens 30a, 30b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
