Abstract:
An indoor unit (100) of an air conditioner includes a guide member (10) provided below an air discharge port (2a) of a blower fan (2) and upstream of the heat exchanger (4). The guide member (10) has a guide portion (10a) disposed to face an end surface (4a) upstream of the heat exchanger (4), and the guide portion (10a) is a plate body whose cross-section has a linear shape parallel to the end surface (4a) when cut along a plane including a rotation axis (11) of the blower fan (2). Thus, provided is the indoor unit (100) of the air conditioner capable of more uniformly guiding air from the blower fan (2) in a height direction of the heat exchanger (4) by the compact and inexpensive guide member (10).
