Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of air conditioner capable of reducing noise by achieving reduction in pressure loss by suppressing peeling of air passing the side wall of a drain pan.SOLUTION: A drain pan 19 includes peeling suppression means 37 having a first surface 34 facing the upstream side of an airflow, at an upper end portion of a side wall 33 located on the downstream side of the airflow which has passed a heat exchanger 18, and a second surface 35 formed continuously to the first surface 34 and facing the downstream side of the airflow. The first surface 34 is a convex surface formed continuously to an upstream side surface of the airflow of the side wall 33, and the second surface 35 is a concave surface formed continuously to a downstream side surface of the airflow of the side wall 33 from an upper end edge of the first surface 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
