Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction current generating device in which an efficiency when molten metal is agitated by induction current is improved.SOLUTION: Electromagnet assembly (an induction current generating device) comprises a coil 11 made of vine-winding hollow wire 11A (a long member) and a hollow cylindrical shell 12A for spacing apart the molten metal 91 and the coil 11 to each other. Each of the windings of the coil 11 is set with a near portion 11B where a distance from an outer surface 12D of the cylindrical shell 12A to the hollow wire 11A is short and a far portion 11C where a distance from the outer surface 12D of the cylindrical shell 12A to the hollow wire 11A is long. The number of the near portions 11B and the far portions 11C at each of the coils 11 are the same at any one of each of the windings. In addition, each of the near portion 11B and the far portion 11C set at adjoining two windings at the coil 11 is arranged in a direction where a center axis 12E of the cylindrical shell 12A extends.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
