Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a cored hardening by advance quench-hardening to a small diameter work by cooling the small diameter work in accordance with the design.
CONSTITUTION: This induction hardening device is provided with a high frequency induction heating coil 100 connected with a high frequency power source and four cooling jackets 200 for jetting cooling liquid to the small diameter work W heated with the high frequency induction heating coil 100. The cooling jackets 200 are arranged to the positions, whereat the jetted cooling liquid does not hit directly the high frequency induction heating coil 100. The size between the cooling jackets 200 is set to the size, in which the small diameter work W can be passed. By this method, the supply and the recovery of the small diameter work W are made to be easy.
