To provide an induction heating apparatus, which supplies an AC current to an insulated conductor arranged at a member to be heated, such that the need for rust-proofing on a tube body through which the insulated conductor is run is eliminated, the tube body can be attached to the member to be heated by welding, and no heat-conductive cement is necessary between the tube body and member to be heated.
The induction heating apparatus includes an insulated conductor 4 to which an AC current is supplied, a tube body 3 through which the insulated conductor 4 is run, and a member 2 to be heated on which the tube body 3 is mounted, the member 2 to be heated includes a material (magnetic body) which generates an induced current, and the tube body 3 is made of a material (nonmagnetic body) which generates an induced current less than the material of the member 2 to be heated. With this configuration, the induced current is generated not by the tube body 3, but by the member 2 to be heated to directly heat the member 2 to be heated, so heat-conductive cement 5 is not necessary, stainless steel which hardly generates an induced current can be used as a material of the tube body 3 to eliminate the need for rust-proofing such as plating, coating, etc., and the tube body 3 can be fitted to the member 2 to be heated by welding.
